Charter of respect

1. The spirit of the place
COCOON MIND is a refuge for curiosity, designed for learning through pleasure — without grades, competition or judgement. By joining the community, you commit to preserving this spirit of kindness and shared wonder.
2. Listen before judging
Everyone explores at their own pace and with their own story. We welcome "naive" questions, hesitations and differing points of view with patience and generosity. A good question is worth more than a closed answer.
3. Zero violence
There is no place for hateful, harassing, contemptuous, discriminatory or humiliating remarks. Personal attacks, mockery and intimidation are strictly prohibited, in all spaces (The Vigil, The Circle, The Arena, live conference chat).
4. Respect difference
Ages, cultures, levels, beliefs and opinions: diversity is a strength. We debate ideas without attacking people. Disagreement is welcome; contempt is not.
5. Authenticity and honesty
Don't impersonate anyone, don't deliberately spread false information, and cite your sources when useful. Trust is the foundation of the community.
6. Protect privacy
We respect everyone's privacy: no sharing of others' personal data, no screenshots taken out of context. What is confided around the fire is treated with care.
7. Appropriate content
Illegal, violent, sexually explicit content, or content inappropriately involving minors, is prohibited. We keep spaces safe and serene for everyone.
8. Keep a critical mind towards AI
L'Élan is a learning companion, not an infallible authority. We welcome its answers with curiosity but also with perspective: checking, questioning and forming your own thinking are part of the journey.
9. Report, don't fuel
When faced with abuse, don't respond with aggression: report it. Any behaviour contrary to this charter can be reported to contact@cocoonmind.com. Moderation may hide content or suspend an offending account.
10. Your commitment
By creating an account, you adhere to this Charter of respect. It complements the Terms of Use. Respecting it means protecting the gentleness and freedom of this place — for you and for other explorers.
